The
painting "Painter's Block" hangs over the bed. It was part of an
exhibit of
Annie Campbell's work at Simply Red Village
Bistro (now relocated as Simply
Red Lakeside Bistro at Sheldrake
Point Winery). Deirdre bought it for her
48th birthday.
The
queen-sized sleigh bed is a fun addition to this room with a botantical
duvet and shams. We found the bedside tables
in the basement of our Rochester house.
The mirror, "School of
Fish" was created by Mary Reynolds of the Spirit
and Kitsch artist cooperative in Ithaca. The photograph
reflected in
the mirror was taken by Wes Stevens. We're thinking of painting the
dresser a fun color. Any thoughts?
Wall color:
"Kimono Violet"
In
winter 2007-08 we renovated three bathrooms.
We used 3/4-inch glass tiles from Susan
Jablon Mosaics
in Vestal. The floors of the shower stalls
were done in four-color patterns.
